February 16, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #20 Title APPROVAL OF THE SUPERINTENDENT'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE MONTH ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2015 Description The Superintendent's Financial Statements for the month ending December 31, 2015, does not reflect any unexpected trends for the second quarter of the 2015-2016 fiscal year. Beginning December 2015, premiums for health insurance began to be deposited into the Internal Service Fund for the transition to self-insured. Expenditures are anticipated to exceed revenues at year end in the General Fund because of the use of unassigned fund balance included in the adopted budget. Recommendation That the Superintendent's Financial Statements for the month ending December 31, 2015, be approved by the Board as presented.
